چکیده

Phycocyanin, a natural blue phycobiliprotein extracted from cyanobacteria, recently focused the interest of food industry as promising pigment and antioxidant. Eco-extraction phycocyanin via ultrasound using five glycerol-based NaDES was described here. Response surface methodology (RSM) artificial neural network (ANN) were adapted for generation predictive models to simulate optimize extraction. Input parameters extraction time (15–60 min), temperature (25–50 °C) water addition (20–60%). Two original NaDES, glycerol:glucose:betaine (4:1:1) glycerol:glucose:proline (4:1:1), displayed highest recovery, combined with high free radical scavenging activity. Additionally, stabilizing effect on highlighted after accelerated ageing. Optimized protocol developed here allowed then extraction, pre-formulation stabilization in one step, opening way sustainable formulation this bioactive industry.

Sequential ultrasound-microwave assisted extraction as a green method to extract essential oil from Zataria multiflora

Sequential ultrasound-microwave associated extraction (SUMAE) is a combination of ultrasound waves and microwaves energies in which ultrasonic extraction is used as a pretreatment. It was performed to extract essential oil from Zataria multiflora. The extraction conditions were optimized by response surface methodology (RSM) and Central Composite Design (CCD). The antioxidant and antibacterial ...

Optimization and Comparison of Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction of Estragole from Tarragon Leaves with Hydro-Distillation Method

A comparative study of ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) and hydro-distillation was performed for fast extraction of estragole from tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus L.) dried leaves. Several influential parameters of the UAE procedure in the extraction of estragole (type of solvent, extraction cycles, solvent to material ratio, irradiation time and particle size) were investigated an...

Terpenes as green solvents for extraction of oil from microalgae.

Herein is described a green and original alternative procedure for the extraction of oil from microalgae. Extractions were carried out using terpenes obtained from renewable feedstocks as alternative solvents instead of hazardous petroleum solvents such as n-hexane. The described method is achieved in two steps using Soxhlet extraction followed by the elimination of the solvent from the medium ...

Optimization of phenol and flavonoid extraction compound of Adiantum capillus-veneris L. using ultrasound assisted extraction

Background: Antioxidants are molecules which able to control free radicals and prevent the oxidants of other molecules considering undesirable effects of synthetic anti oxidant. In recent years using of natural anti oxidant gets the great importance. The secondary metabolisms of plants are rich sources of phenol and flavonoids considered as the most important natural antioxidant.  Objective: In...
